Who’s a client?

How do you know if you’d be a good fit for our services?

Clients We Serve

Does this sound like you? You’re likely in the right place if most of the following apply to you:

Your values:

  • You believe that the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution provide a beautiful foundation for our country.

  • You see your values, work, and money as one connected whole, not separate parts of your life.

  • You think deeply about life, you’re a Christian, &/or you love to read.

  • You don’t buy into the “be a slave to the 9-5 til I’m 65” retirement mindset, but instead focus on stewardship, vocation, and serving those around you at every age and season of “work.”

Your situation:

  • You’re a wisdom-seeking family in your 30’s, 40’s, or 50’s with children, at least one income >$100k/year, and an aversion to debt.

  • You’re a current or aspiring business owner.

  • You know that you need help with investing.

  • You want to be sure that you don’t run out of money in retirement, and being dependent on social security counts as “running out of money in retirement.”

For our relationship to work we have to trust each other. And we have to respect each other. Honestly, we also have to like each other! Beyond trust, respect, and liking we have to be on the same page about the ideas that govern our actions.

Ideas have consequences, and so around here we spend a tremendous amount of effort upfront making sure we’re on the same page philosophically with clients and potential clients so we can work together effectively.

You’re likely in the right place if you have 1) faith in the first principles of America’s founding, 2) a deep desire to build so much household wealth that social security is simply irrelevant for your family, and 3) a willingness to:

  • dream big

  • work hard

  • save wisely

  • give generously

  • safeguard the ideals of our country

Freedom Quest-ers are united by three core traits:

1: A faith in the first principles of the American founding, as expressed in the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution.

What matters here is the faith, the intelligent patriotism, the reasoned trust in the actionable beauty of the ideas in these profound civic documents. No society is perfect, but we have faith in America’s ideals.

2: A desire to build enough personal wealth that social security is simply irrelevant to our households’ financial well-being.

What matters here is the desire, the aspiration, the drive to achieve freedom from social security. Not every client will hit the goal, but we all strive.

3: A willingness to dream big, work hard, save wisely, & give generously.

What matters here is the willingness, the personal initiative, the perseverance to do whatever it takes to give your family and your country the gift of (financial) freedom. Every freedom quest-er starts and ends in a different financial circumstance, but the timeless wisdom of dreaming big, working hard, saving wisely, and giving generously applies to each one of us.

We specialize in working with:

  • thinkers

  • proud U.S. citizens

  • Christians

  • aspiring business owners

  • friends of Hillsdale College

“We are a community of generous, hard-working Americans on a quest to be healthy, wealthy, wise, and free — because as goes a nation’s households, so goes the nation as household, and we are here to do our part to build a free & virtuous society for all whom our lives touch.”
